Work for Us
We place our customers at the heart of what we do, and we are looking for people who are as passionate about providing 5 star customer service as we are. Our family-run, family-inspired ethos is woven through the very fabric of our business and extends out not just to our staff, but to our customers too.
We pride ourselves on the quality and range of plants offered, many of which are grown in our own glasshouses on-site at W.D. Smith’s growing facility.
Not only do we produce plants, we also have a well-established floristry department, together with giftware, homewares and outdoor living departments, plus much more. We hold regular festivals and events across the year, including our now locally-renowned German Christmas Market, Lavender Festival and Pansy & Viola Festival, and a series of children's events throughout the year.
We also offer an on-site 100-seater restaurant, which regularly features in the top 3 of local restaurants on TripAdvisor. Our restaurant is an integral part of Meadow Croft Garden Centre, which has recently been extended to include an attractive and relaxing alfresco eating area.
We know that it's our team that makes Meadow Croft such a success, which is why we hold regular training, staff social events and more throughout each year.
If excellent customer service and being a valued member of a team are top of your list, we want you to be top of ours.

Our buzzwords are fresh and homemade! We use fresh, local ingredients to create wholesome meals. Everything is cooked to order and we use the best local ingredient suppliers we can find, from Paddy & Scott’s coffee, Tiptree jams & Tiptree Patisserie cakes, to locally-sourced English breakfast sausages.
