Terms & Conditions
You may terminate your account at any time, in which case, all points and vouchers issued will be lost. Any points and vouchers are non-transferable. To terminate your account, you should contact us directly, either in store, by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or by phone 01245 320314. Deleting the Loyalty App will not automatically delete your account and therefore your account will remain active until such time that you delete your account (or Meadow Croft terminates your account in accordance with these terms and conditions – please refer to the ‘Disclaimers’ section).
Only one membership per person is permitted at any time. Loyalty App accounts cannot be merged or transferred. The Loyalty App cannot be used to create corporate or business accounts or for any corporate/business purchases through a personal Loyalty App account.
Points and Reward Vouchers
Points can be earned on all purchases made through the main tills at Meadow Croft Garden Centre and Meadow Croft Kitchen. The exceptions to this are purchases of gift vouchers, gift cards, Calor gas, and any other products from time to time as notified. Additionally, points cannot be earned our retail catering outlet, The 10th Hole.
To collect points at Meadow Croft Garden Centre, you must present your Loyalty App at the till at the time of purchase. In the event that the Loyalty App fails at the point of purchase, we may offer, at our sole discretion, to credit your account with earned points at later date, subject to proof of purchase, using a validated till receipt, within 30 days of the date of purchase. You cannot claim points on purchases made before you created your account.
Points are awarded at a rate of 1 point for every £1.00 spent on qualifying purchases. Each point has a redemption value of 1p which can only be redeemed at the point that such points are converted and issued as reward vouchers. We reserve the right to alter this rate at our discretion, including the right to offer bonus points on certain products and/or qualifying purchases, together with the right to terminate any point offers, without notice. Accrued points and/or reward vouchers are personal to you, are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. In the event of a dispute over points earned, we have up to 14 days to investigate and the outcome(s) of our investigations are final.
Reward vouchers will be issued through the Loyalty App and you must present your Loyalty App at the till at the time of purchase in order to redeem the voucher value and/or offer. Reward vouchers may only be redeemed in accordance with the terms of that voucher, including any applicable expiry date, or other terms and conditions otherwise publicised.
We reserve the right to refuse an account application and/or terminate your account at our sole discretion. If we reasonably believe that you have breached these terms and conditions, or reasonably suspect abuse, fraud or misconduct in respect of use of the Loyalty App, your account may be suspended and/or terminated without prior notice. We also reserve the right to close your account if you have not used your Loyalty App for a period of 24 months or more.
Meadow Croft reserves the right to amend, withdraw or cancel rewards and/or points (including the value, redemption and issue of such) at any time. This may apply in the event of any human or software error which results in the award of points or vouchers to which you are not entitled under these conditions or that are issued in error.
Meadow Croft may make changes to the Loyalty App at any time and reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time and without advance notice. Changes shall be effective immediately upon posting to our website. This includes the termination of the Loyalty App in its entirety.
Our Loyalty App may contain links to other websites, and we have neither power nor control over any such website. You acknowledge and agree that we shall not be liable in any way for the content of such linked website, nor for any loss or damage arising from your use of any such website.
All obligations to customers and account holders in respect of the Loyalty App are contained in these terms and nowhere else. In the event of a dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms, you agree to attempt to settle the dispute by engaging in good faith with us through our internal complaint procedures before commencing legal proceedings.
