Keep in mind

Although the toxicity of these plants is minimal and fine to have around pets, any plant consumed in large quantities can be harmful. We advise to keep plants in rooms where the pet is perhaps not allowed or out of reach on a worktop or shelf. A great way to still have plants in the rooms you want them is to use pot stands. They are highly fashionable and on trend, you'll certainly be able to find one that suits your decor and it raises your houseplants up out of the way!

If your pet has consumed a plant that you're unsure the toxicity of, you can contact the Animal Poison Line 24/7. Their contact number is 01202 509000 or you can also visit the HTA website  www.hta.org.uk/poisonousplants
